Terms of Service

The umbrella agreement covering accounts, platform use, purchases, content, termination, liability and disputes.

Your account

Creating an Acada account means you agree to these basic ground rules:

  • Eligibility: You provide accurate information about yourself when you sign up, whether you're a student or a creator.
  • Fair use: You won't attempt to scrape data, distribute malicious code, or otherwise interfere with the platform.
  • One account, one person: Accounts are individual — you can't sell, share, or transfer yours to someone else.

Content and ownership

We want creators and students to feel confident their work stays theirs:

  • Creators keep their rights: You own the courses, files, and materials you publish in Studio.
  • Marketplace license: Listing a course publicly gives Acada permission to host and distribute it to students — nothing more.
  • Your work stays yours: Notes, flashcards, and anything else you create as a student belong to you.

Payments and payouts

Marketplace sales, subscriptions, and affiliate commissions are settled transparently and split automatically according to each creator's configured rate. Acada isn't responsible for disputes arising from arrangements users make outside the platform.

Academic honesty

Everything you publish should be your own, genuine work. Plagiarism isn't allowed.

Account safety

You're responsible for keeping your login and payment details secure.
