Instructor Dashboard: getting started

Becoming an instructor

Switch to an instructor account in Settings → Account, free, if you are 18 or older; making and publishing courses needs one.

Fifteen screens for building, watching and being paid for your courses, nine of which you can rearrange.

The Editor

Build a course in the Editor: the course tree, lessons that save themselves, Preview, Settings and Publish.

Modules

A module has a title, description, up to 6 skills, key terms and a colour; a course needs 2 modules to publish.

Lessons

A lesson has blocks, a description, a free-preview switch and up to 25 sources; a course needs 3 lessons and 45 minutes.

Course Settings

Course Settings holds the title, description, media, colour and the course's disclosures, kept when you choose Save.

The enrolment questionnaire

Up to 5 questions of four types, optional or required, asked when students first open the course and locked once answered.
