Emails you always get
Emails about your account, your money and your security are sent whatever your settings say, from noreply@acada.ac.
Some emails are sent whatever your settings say, because they are about your account, your money or your security. None of them has a switch. The Privacy Policy says what we email and why.
How it works
| Kind | The emails |
|---|---|
| Sign-in and security | Your welcome, sign-ins from a new device, password and email changes, and two-factor changes. |
| Your account | Warnings, restrictions and closures, appeals, copyright notices, deletion and reactivation, support tickets, and policy changes you must accept. |
| Money | Receipts, failed payments, trial reminders, refunds, disputes, payouts, payout account alerts and publishing fees. |
| Courses | A course you take closing or staying open. For creators, a course published or removed, regional pricing changes, and joining or leaving a course team. |
Rules and limits
- A change to a policy you must accept is emailed when it is announced, 14 days before it takes effect.
- The same list is under Always sent in Settings → Email preferences.
- Unsubscribe from All does not stop them.
- Their footer says they are about your account and cannot be turned off. An optional email's footer names the switch that sent it instead.
- Every email comes from noreply@acada.ac.
