The marketplace

Every published, public course in one grid, with search, categories and filters, and cards priced for your country.

Open it

The marketplace lists every published, public course on ACADA. Open it from Marketplace in the sidebar. It starts with a few slides, then a search box, the categories and the courses, with more loading as you scroll.

What's on it

Slides
Teaching on ACADA, then 6 careers with the skills each one hires for, then five-star reviews from real courses once there are some. They turn every 6 seconds. They stop while your pointer or keyboard is on them, or when your device asks for reduced motion. The marks at the foot of the slides show which one is up. Pick a mark to go to that slide.
Search box
Typing narrows the courses below to ones whose title, description, category, creator or skills match. Matching skills and categories appear under the box: pick one to filter by it. Enter, with 2 or more characters typed, opens the full search.
Categories
A tab for each category that has courses in it, once there are 2 or more. All shows every course.
Filters
A panel beside the courses, open from the start; on a phone, a bar under the header. See Filters, sorting and layout.
Courses
How many courses match, with Bundles beside the count once a bundle is on sale. The last card is an invitation to teach.

What a card tells you

New
Published in the last 90 days and not rated yet.
Level, length and rating
The level the creator chose and the lessons' lengths added up. The average rating shows once 10 people have reviewed the course.
Certificate
Finishing the course earns a certificate.
The line under the title
The first sentence of the course's description.
Learners
How many people are taking the course, once that is 25 or more.
The price line
Each plan with its price for your country, such as $9.99/month or $49.99 lifetime access, then the free trial if there is one. A free course says Free.
"No level yet" and the like
The creator has not set that part of the course yet.
Enroll
Opens the course page, where you choose a plan and pay. It reads Start Trial when there is a free trial, Rejoin for a course you can rejoin free, and Enter Course once you are enrolled.
Preview
Opens the course's free preview lesson. See Free preview lessons.
The bookmark
Save for later keeps the course on your wishlist. Signed out, it asks you to sign in first.

Rules and limits

  • A course its creator made private is not listed, and neither is one we have unlisted under a policy. A private course's page still opens from its link.
  • A course with 10 or more reviews that average under 3 stars is not listed here, on category pages or in search.
  • Every price is the price for your country. See What you pay.
  • Browsing, search, course pages and preview lessons need no account. Saving a course, the bag and enrolling do.
