Finding people

Find someone with the header search, People You May Know on the Social page, or the roster of a course you take. Choose a name anywhere to open that person's portfolio.

What's on it

Search

The search box in the header. Its People and Creators groups find members by name or username.

People You May Know

On the Social page. Each suggestion says why: Followed by peers you track or Shares mutual workspace, for someone in your rooms. With no one to suggest yet, it shows new members.

Classroom Roster

A tab of any course you take: everyone taking it, sorted by Most Active or Name (A-Z), with a search.

Rules and limits

• Members whose profile is private or followers only do not appear in search or suggestions.
• Members who turned People Search off in Settings → Privacy are left out of search and suggestions. When you invite someone or look up a leaderboard place, they appear only if you follow them.
• A suggestion marked Followed by peers you track counts only follows you could see on those people's lists.
• Members under 18, closed accounts and people you have blocked are never suggested.
• Search leaves out people you have blocked and people who have blocked you.
• People you have blocked are left off a roster.
• A roster shows how recently each person was active, never their progress.

If something goes wrong

"No suggestions right now."

Follow a few people or join a room, and suggestions follow.

"The roster could not be loaded…"
