Affiliate payouts

Once your cleared commission reaches $20, you can request a payout or let a schedule send it. A payout is your whole cleared balance, sent within 1 day. Stripe or PayPal usually pay you within 1 to 3 business days after that.

Before you request

• Your cleared balance, shown as Available to withdraw, is at least your minimum: $20, or more if you set it higher.
• Your payout method is ready: Stripe connected and ready for payouts, or PayPal if you live outside the United States.
• No other payout is on its way. One is sent at a time.

How to set up a payout method

On Affiliate Dashboard → Payouts, under Payment Methods:

   For Stripe, choose the Country of your bank account, then Connect with Stripe, and finish on Stripe. The panel then shows Connected and ready for payouts.

   For PayPal, type your PayPal Email and tick the box confirming you are not a US person and do not live in the United States.

   Under Preferred Method, choose the one to be paid by, then choose Save Payment Settings.

PayPal is not offered with a Stripe account in the United States. If Stripe has not finished with your account, the panel says so; choose Continue Stripe setup.

How to request a payout

   Choose Request, followed by your balance, at the top of Payouts.

2. 2.

   Check the amount and the method, then choose Request payout. Payout requested confirms it.

What happens next

Payouts go out on the daily run, at 11:00 UTC, so a request is sent within 1 day. On a schedule, the payout is made and sent on your day if your balance meets your minimum and your method is ready. The days are Mondays, the 1st and 15th, or the 1st, in UTC. We email you when it is sent.

If Stripe or PayPal refuses it, we email you the reason, and the payout shows Retrying. We try again on the next two daily runs, with your method as it is then. After that it shows Failed, and the amount returns to your balance.

PayPal can also send a payout back after accepting it, for example when no PayPal account uses the email address on your method. While PayPal holds it, we tell you in the app: claim it at PayPal within 30 days. If it comes back, the payout shows Failed, we email you, and the commissions return to your balance.

Rules and limits

• We pay in US dollars and cover the cost of sending. A fee your bank or PayPal charges to receive it, and any currency conversion, is yours.
• What we pay you is yours to declare. Where US law requires a form, it comes through Stripe, and Stripe collects the tax details we never ask for.
• Once Stripe has verified you, your profile shows Identity verified (Verification Policy).
• After you leave the programme, what you are owed is paid automatically, with no minimum. See Leaving and rejoining the programme.

If something goes wrong

"You already have a payout on its way. It is sent on the next daily run."

Wait for it. Payout History shows where it is.

"Your cleared balance is below your minimum payout."

Wait for more commissions to clear, or lower your minimum, never below $20.

"Connect Stripe under Payment Methods first."

Your preferred method is Stripe, but no account is connected.

"Your Stripe account is not ready to receive payouts yet…"

Choose Continue Stripe setup and give Stripe what it asks for.

"PayPal payouts are for affiliates outside the United States…"

Tick the confirmation under Payment Methods, or use Stripe.
