What earns commission
The course's rate, fixed at the sale, on every charge the buyer makes for it: first purchase, renewals, trial charge, upgrade and repurchase.
You earn the course's rate on every charge a buyer credited to you makes for that course. The rate is set by the course's creator, above 0% and at most 50%, and is fixed when the sale is made. It is a percentage of what the buyer pays before tax, after any discount.
How it works

Each commission is rounded to the cent. There is no cap, on one course or in total.
An example
A $29.99 monthly course paying 20% earns you $6.00 for the first month and every renewal. If the creator also funds a 10% discount for your buyers, the first month costs $26.99 and earns you $5.40. Renewals are at full price and earn $6.00.
The buyer's discount
A creator may fund up to 15% off for buyers credited to an affiliate, by a link or by the code. It applies to the first purchase only, which on Monthly Access means the first month, and never to an upgrade. It does not combine with one of our discount codes: the buyer gets whichever is larger.
When the rate or your status changes
- A creator can change the rate or close the programme at any time. Sales you already made keep their rate, renewals included; only new sales change.
- While you are out of the programme, charges earn you nothing and are not paid later. After you rejoin, renewals of your earlier sales pay you again.
- A refund or chargeback inside the 14-day hold reverses the commission, and a partial one reduces it. After the hold, the commission stays yours. See Earnings statuses.
Rules and limits
Nothing is earned on a free course, a trial not yet charged, a failed payment or a bundle. Nor on a course with no programme on, a charge not credited to you, or your own courses. Section 4 of Affiliate Commission & Payouts has the terms.
