Sharing, and the marketing rules
Share anywhere you are allowed to post, and say you earn a commission every time; faked referrals close your affiliate account.
Affiliate Dashboard → Overview
Open itShare your code or a course's link anywhere you are allowed to post, as long as you say you earn a commission. The Overview has ready-made posts that already say it. Faked referrals close your affiliate account at once.
The share panel
Share Your Code, on the Overview, holds your code with a copy button and three ready messages: Twitter, LinkedIn and Email. Each names your code, says you earn a commission, and links to the marketplace. None promises results or names a rate.
LinkedIn takes only a link, so LinkedIn copies the post for you to paste. For a link to one course, use the Courses page.
The rules
- Say you earn a commission next to every link or code, every time. "I earn a commission if you join through this link" will do. In a video, say it and write it.
- Quote what a course page says and no more. Promise no results, jobs, grades or income, and never call a course, creator or certificate accredited, official or endorsed.
- Call yourself an ACADA affiliate, not a partner or representative. No handle, page, sender name or code that reads as ours.
- Promote on your own channels, and in other people's spaces only where their rules allow it. Nothing aimed at children under 13, and nothing beside prohibited content.
- Email only people who asked to hear from you, with an unsubscribe, from your own name. No unsolicited direct messages.
- No ads that bid on or target ACADA, our marks, their misspellings, a course title or a creator's name.
- Offer nothing for joining: no cash, credit or gifts. Something you made, such as a guide, is fine. A discount the creator funds may be mentioned, but no link or code goes on coupon or deal sites.
- Every referral is a real person who chose to come: not you, your other accounts or your household. No hidden links, forced clicks or cookie tricks.
Rules and limits
A missed disclosure is a written warning and a request to fix it; breaking the rules again leads to restrictions, then closure. Faked referrals are fraud: your affiliate account closes at once, and commissions from them are withheld whether or not they had cleared. Each rule and its consequence are in the Marketing Guidelines.
