What the programme is

Affiliates recommend other people's courses and earn what each course pays, up to 50% of every charge, from the creator's share.

An affiliate recommends other people's courses and earns the commission each creator chose to pay, up to 50% of every charge. Anyone 18 or older can join, at no cost, from Settings. The commission comes out of the creator's share, never the buyer's price.

How it works

A creator switches on an affiliate programme for a course and sets its rate. You share that course with your link, or tell people your code to type at checkout. When someone you sent buys the course, the sale is credited to you.

You earn on that first purchase and on every later charge the buyer makes for the course: each monthly renewal, an upgrade, a repurchase. The rate is fixed when the sale is made, so a creator lowering it later never touches what you already have.

A commission clears 14 days after the charge, the period the buyer has to ask for a refund. From $20 of cleared commission you are paid, on a schedule you choose or when you ask, through Stripe or, outside the United States, PayPal.

An example

A $29.99 monthly course paying 20% earns you $6.00 when the buyer is charged, and $6.00 again every month they stay. A $100 lifetime course paying 20%, with a 10% discount for your buyers, costs the buyer $90. You earn $18.00, we keep $27.00 and the creator $45.00.

Who can join

  • Anyone 18 or older with one ACADA account in their own name. There is no application and nothing to pay.
  • Creators and collaborators can join and earn on other people's courses, never on their own course or one they work on.
  • Joining is agreeing to the Affiliate Agreement and the Marketing Guidelines. The figures are in Affiliate Commission & Payouts.

Rules and limits

  • A course earns you nothing unless its creator has switched a programme on. Bundles never pay a commission.
  • Your buyers are never named to you. Your dashboard shows courses, charges and amounts.
  • Say that you earn a commission wherever you share your link or code. Sharing, and the marketing rules covers what else you may and may not do.
