Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time from inside the course. Nothing more is charged, and you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for. You can undo the cancellation until then.

Before you cancel

• Only monthly access can be cancelled. Lifetime access has nothing to cancel, and a 30-day pass bought with a bundle does not renew.
• Cancelling does not refund the month you are in. If you paid within the last 14 days and have completed fewer than half the lessons, you can ask for a refund instead. See Refunds.
• During a free trial the button is Cancel trial, and it ends your access at once. See Free trials.

How to cancel your subscription

   Open the course and choose Billing & Subscription in the left panel.

   Under Manage Subscription, choose Cancel subscription.

   The dialog shows the date your access ends. Choose Cancel subscription to confirm.

   The status changes to Canceling, and Auto-Renew reads Off.

What happens next

Nothing more is charged. Your access carries on until the date shown under Expires, the end of the month you paid for. To keep the subscription after all, choose Undo cancellation before that date and it renews as before.

On that date your access ends, and the course shows Your access has expired with a button to enrol again. Your progress, certificate and achievements stay on your account.

Rules and limits

• Leaving a course stops its subscription in the same way. Rejoin before the paid month ends and it renews again. See Leaving a course.
• A renewal is refunded only if we charged it by mistake: after you cancelled, or twice. Tell us through support within 14 days of the charge.
• Upgrading to lifetime access ends the subscription at once, with credit for the unused part of the month. See Upgrading to lifetime.
• Every subscription you have is listed in Settings → Billing, under Your Purchases.
• A chargeback on any of its payments ends the subscription at once, and your access with it. Ask us first: see Refunds.

If something goes wrong

There is no Cancel subscription button

The course is lifetime access, a 30-day bundle pass, or a free trial, which shows Cancel trial instead.

"Could not change your subscription…"

Nothing changed. Try again in a moment, and contact support if it keeps happening.

You were charged after cancelling

Contact support within 14 days of the charge and we refund it.
