Receipts

Every charge gets a receipt by email, and Billing History opens Stripe's receipt for any card payment.

Settings → Billing → Billing History

Open it

Every charge gets an emailed receipt: a purchase, each monthly renewal, an upgrade, and the charge at the end of a free trial. Every payment is also listed in Billing History, where Receipt opens Stripe's receipt for it.

What a receipt shows

The purchase email
You're enrolled in [course], with the plan, what you paid and when, and when it renews or ends.
The charge email
Receipt for [amount]: [course], for renewals, upgrades and trial charges, with the amount, any tax, the date and View receipt.
Stripe's receipt
Stripe's own page for the payment, with the amount, the card used and any tax. A renewal opens Stripe's invoice, which you can download as a PDF.

How to get a receipt

  1. 1.

Open Settings → Billing, or the course's Billing & Subscription tab.

  2. 2.

Under Billing History, find the payment.

  3. 3.

Choose Receipt. Stripe's receipt opens in a new tab.

Rules and limits

  • A bundle has one receipt for the whole bundle, and each course's row opens it.
  • For a PayPal payment, PayPal emails its own receipt, and it is in your PayPal account under Activity. Our purchase email is your receipt from us.
  • Billing History shows amounts in US dollars, tax included. A purchase charged in your own currency shows that currency on Stripe's receipt and in our email.
  • Receipts go to the email address on your account, and you cannot turn them off.

If something goes wrong

"No receipt is available for this payment yet."
Stripe is still processing the payment. Try again in a few minutes.
"Receipt not found."
The payment is not on the account you are signed in to.
The receipt does not open
Your browser may have blocked the new tab. Allow pop-ups for acada.ac and choose Receipt again.
The email did not arrive
Look in spam, then contact support with the date and the amount.
