Paying with PayPal
Where checkout offers it, PayPal pays for lifetime access and bundles; monthly access needs a card or wallet.
Where the buy box shows Pay with PayPal, you can pay for lifetime access or a bundle with PayPal. Monthly access renews each month, so it is paid by card or wallet. The PayPal button does not appear for it or for a free trial.
How to pay with PayPal

On the course page, choose Lifetime Access. For a bundle, open the bundle's page.
- 2.
Choose Pay with PayPal, under the buy button.
- 3.
Approve the payment in PayPal. PayPal never shares your PayPal sign-in with us.
- 4.
You come back to Welcome to [course], and our receipt arrives by email. PayPal sends its own receipt as well.
What happens next
- PayPal payments are charged in US dollars.
- Regional prices and codes work the same as when you pay by card.
- An eCheck from a bank account can take up to a week to clear. The confirmation page says so, and we email you when it lands. If it fails, nothing is charged, and we email you so you can pay another way.
- If you approve the payment in PayPal but close the page before coming back, we still take the payment and enrol you. The receipt arrives by email.
Rules and limits
- A PayPal purchase is refunded to your PayPal account, usually within 5 business days of the refund being issued.
- In Billing History, Receipt explains that PayPal's receipt is in your PayPal account. Our purchase email is your receipt from us.
- If you pay for something you already have, the payment is refunded in full automatically.
Ask us before opening a PayPal dispute. A dispute counts as a chargeback: your access ends at once while it is reviewed. A refund request from the course's Billing tab is faster.
If something goes wrong
- "You left PayPal without paying. Nothing was charged."
- You are back where you started, with your code kept. Pay when you are ready, or pay by card.
- "PayPal declined that payment method…"
- Nothing was charged. Try another way to pay.
- "PayPal could not complete the payment…"
- Nothing was charged. Try again, or pay by card.
- "PayPal took the payment, and your access is still being set up…"
- It appears within a few minutes. If it does not, write to support@acada.ac.
- "PayPal is not available for your location yet…"
- Pay by card or wallet instead.
