Arriving through a referral link

An affiliate's link asks before it remembers who sent you; say yes and they are credited if you enrol within 90 days.

An affiliate's link opens a page headed Someone recommended a course to you, with one question: may we remember who sent you? Say yes, and the affiliate is credited if you enrol in that course within 90 days. Either way, you go on to the course and pay the same price.

How it works

Continue
We remember who sent you. Signed in, it is recorded on your account at once; otherwise a cookie keeps it until you next use ACADA signed in.
Continue without remembering
Nothing is stored, and nobody is credited.

A discount the creator funds for people arriving this way shows on the page, for example 10% off with this link. It waits for you at checkout. Otherwise you pay the usual price: the commission comes out of the creator's share, never yours.

Rules and limits

  • Each referral is for one course. Up to 10 can wait at once, and each lapses 90 days after its visit if you buy nothing.
  • If two affiliates send you to the same course, the last one before you buy is credited.
  • A link that cannot credit anyone says This link does not credit anyone at the moment, so there is nothing to remember. Carry on.
  • A code someone gives you out loud can be typed at checkout instead: see Affiliate codes.

The cookie is called acada_ref and holds the code, the course and the date, nothing else. The Cookie Policy covers it in full.
