Six themes, three text sizes, reduce motion, increase contrast and a display currency; all but the currency apply to this browser only.
Settings → Appearance
Open itAppearance sets how ACADA looks and which currency prices are shown in. Each change applies at once, with no Save button. Theme, text size, motion and contrast are kept in this browser; the currency also follows your account.
What's on it
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| Theme | Light, Dark, System Default, Aqua, Amber or Velvet. System Default follows your device between light and dark. Aqua, Amber and Velvet are dark palettes. |
| Text Size | Small, Medium or Large, for text across the whole app. Medium is the default. |
| Motion | Reduce motion turns off animations and transitions, including the marketplace's rotating banner. |
| Contrast | Increase contrast darkens borders and secondary text, gives buttons a stronger fill, and deepens the accent colour in the light theme. |
| Currency | Show prices in adds an approximate local amount beside each US dollar price. |
How it works
Theme, text size, motion and contrast are saved in this browser, so set them again on another browser or device. Clearing your browser's data for acada.ac returns them to their defaults.
Your device's own reduce-motion setting is always respected, whether or not Reduce motion is on. If your device asks for more contrast, the policy pages use higher contrast even while Increase contrast is off.
The currency
Courses are priced in US dollars. With another of the 56 currencies chosen, each price shows the dollar amount with an approximate local amount beside it. Checkout shows the exact amount you pay.
Signed in, your choice is saved to your account and follows you. Until you choose, prices follow your location. See What you pay.
