What can happen
| What | What it means | How it ends |
|---|---|---|
| Hidden for its rating | Rated under 3.0 by 10 or more students: no longer listed, but its link works and students keep access. | When the average recovers. |
| Unlisted by ACADA | Off the marketplace and search, still reachable by link. Students keep access and affiliates still earn. | An appeal, within 30 days. |
| Hidden by moderation | Off the marketplace entirely, and affiliate earnings stop. | An appeal, within 30 days. |
| Removed | Gone. Students are refunded from your share within 5 business days. | An appeal, within 30 days. |
How to appeal
- 1.
Open the email and choose Appeal this decision, or go to Settings → Account standing.
- 2.
Say why the decision is wrong and send the appeal. A reply to the email is not an appeal.
Rules and limits
- Someone not involved in the decision answers within 5 business days. See Enforcement and appeals.
- A content warning, advice notice or AI disclosure we place is shown on the course, and you are told in the app and by email. You cannot clear it, and each can be appealed.
- A course on hold after a copyright notice shows On hold (copyright notice), cannot be published, and earns affiliates nothing until the hold ends.
- Reports about your course are read by ACADA. You are told if we act, and not told who reported.
