Your course room
Publishing makes the room with five channels and makes you its owner; students join and leave it with the course.
Publishing makes the course room and makes you its owner. Every student joins it when they enrol and leaves it when they leave the course. If the course closes, it carries on as a group chat.
What's on it

|---|---|
| announcements | News for every student, posted by you, admins and roles allowed. See Announcements. |
| general-chat | The room's main conversation. |

| resource-sharing | Links and files worth sharing. |
Rules and limits
- Add channels and categories, make forum channels for questions, and set auto-delete on busy ones. A room holds 10 channels and 10 categories.
- Give helpful students a role. See Roles and permissions.
- Mute, remove or ban when you need to; none of it touches an enrolment. See Moderating a room.
- The Community Guidelines apply to you in your own room as to anyone.
