Polls
One vote each, recorded at once; everyone sees the totals, and nobody sees who voted for what.
A poll asks one question with a few options. Choose one and your vote is recorded at once, and the results under it show how many chose each option. Your vote is still marked when you come back.
How it works
- Once anyone has voted, you see the results so far before you vote.
- You get one vote. After voting, the options are locked.
- Nobody can see who voted for what, the creator included. Polls show totals only, which is what (anonymous) beside the total means.
- If the creator removes an option, its votes stop counting.
Rules and limits
- Only students enrolled in the course can vote.
- Someone reading a free preview sees the poll but not its results.
If something goes wrong
- Polls need an account.
- "You must be enrolled in this course to vote."
- Enrol in the course to take part.
- "Your vote was not saved. Try again."
- Nothing was recorded. Choose your option again.
- "The results could not be loaded."
- Reload the page.
