Modules, skills and key terms

A module is a chapter of the course, with a page of its own. Open it from Material in the workspace rail. The page shows what the module covers and your progress through it, then its tasks, lessons, assignments, key terms and resources.

What's on it

Module 2, Completed

Where the module sits in the course, and Completed once every lesson in it is done, or Not Completed.

Progress

Lessons done out of lessons, such as "2 / 5 lessons (40%)". The percentage is weighted by each lesson's estimated time, so it can differ from the count.

Skills

Up to 6 skills the module teaches. Finish the module and they count as yours: see Skills.

Tasks

The module's lessons and assignments you have still to do, under To Do, and what you have finished, under Completed.

Lessons

The lessons in order, with their lengths. Each opens the lesson.

Assignments

Every assignment in the module's lessons. Each shows what it accepts, its time, Mandatory or Optional, its rubric, and how many have handed it in.

Key Terms

Words the creator defined. Add to Notebook copies them to your Notebook; Study Flashcards makes them into a deck.

Resource Library

The files, images, videos and embeds in the module's lessons.

Key terms in lessons

A key term from any module is picked out wherever it appears in a lesson's text. It shows bold, in the accent colour, with a dotted underline. Hover over it to read the definition. A term with no definition is not picked out.

Rules and limits

• Definitions show on hover, so a touch screen does not show them. Read them under Key Terms on the module page instead.
• Study Flashcards makes the deck from the terms as they are then. Terms the creator adds later do not join it.
• Add to Notebook skips terms already in your Notebook.
