Reporting a course

Report a course that breaks a policy; a person reads every report, within 1 business day for urgent reasons.

Course → More → Report

Report a course that breaks a policy. A report goes to ACADA, not the creator, and a person reads every one. That is within 1 business day for the urgent reasons, and 3 for the rest. For a mistake in a lesson, correct it. For a view on its quality, write a review.

How to report a course

  1. 1.

Choose More and then Report at the foot of the course's workspace, or Report course in the menu on the course page or its card.

  2. 2.

    Choose a reason under Reason.

  3. 3.

Add details if they help, up to 1,000 characters, and choose Submit report.

  • Urgent: prohibited content; violence, threats or hate; self-harm or suicide; scam or fraud; child safety.
  • The rest: copyright violation; trademark or brand misuse; spam or misleading; low quality; other.

What happens next

The dialog says Report sent. When we close your report, whether or not we acted on it, a notice tells you it has been handled. That needs Report Updates on in Settings → Notifications, and it does not say what we did. A course in breach can be unlisted, hidden or removed. When one is removed, its students are refunded, as When a course closes sets out.
