The class feed

Everyone's handed-in work in one feed, with comments and votes; only the vote totals show.

Course → Submitted Assignments

Submitted Assignments is the course's class feed: the work every student has handed in, newest first. Open it from the course's tabs. Each piece shows the assignment it answers, and you can comment on it and vote.

What's on it

Sort
Newest first, Oldest first, Most upvoted, Most commented or Student name (A–Z).
All assignments
Narrows the feed to one assignment, and shows how many have handed in each.
By assignment
One section per assignment, in module order, with Nothing handed in yet where nobody has.
Total time
The estimated time of all the course's assignments together.
Each submission
The assignment's title, which opens its lesson, and what it asked for. Then its time, Mandatory or Optional, its rubric, and the work itself.

Comments and votes

  • Helpful and Not helpful give one vote per submission. Press the same one again to take it back, or the other to switch. Most upvoted orders by helpful votes minus not helpful ones.
  • Only the totals show. Nobody can see who voted, the student included.
  • Comments are open to everyone in the course, and the creator uses the same thread for feedback.
  • The flag on someone else's work, Report this content, reports it to us. See Reporting people, messages and courses.

Rules and limits

  • Only people with current access to the course see the feed.
  • With nothing handed in yet, the page opens on the by-assignment list, so it still shows what the course asks for.
